In this age of bare bones airline service, Lady Skywriter serves up an entertaining program recalling the vastly different passenger experience of 50 years ago. She reacquaints us with a time when T-shirts, shorts and flip-flops were unthinkable airplane attire, and suits, hats and dresses were de rigueur.
Come along for a ride back to the 1950s on a Northwest Airlines Boeing B-377 Stratocruiser. Lady Skywriter will share stories and vintage photographs from her own collection, of her days working on the double-deck airplane with the lounge “downstairs.” We will take off from your location and wing our way back to the golden era of passenger flight ~ a time when Elvis was “king,” Ike was president and Hollywood actress Grace Kelly married Prince Ranier and became Princess of Monaco.
Fasten your seat belts for “Fujiyama Trays & Oshibori Towels,” from the book of the same title. Ideally suited for airline associations, historical societies, civic, fraternal and church groups, and senior centers.
Customize your program by adding Stratocruiser-style refreshments such as warm, scented Oshibori towels, champagne (regular or non-alcoholic) or the fabulous Fujiyama Tray. Contact Lady Skywriter for details at 612-865-5377 or firstname.lastname@example.org
